Alert Packaging are Finalists in the Irish Print Awards 2026
We are delighted to announce that Alert Packaging are Finalists in the Irish Print Awards 2026 for our work with Broderick’s Bakes. Our Flexible Packaging Stand Up Pouch for Broderick’s Bakes has been recognised in two highly competitive categories: Best Use of Print and Food & Drink Packaging of the Year.
Being shortlisted in these categories is a fantastic achievement for our team and a reflection of our award-winning print & production capabilities and technical expertise that goes into every project we manufacture.
Celebrating Great Packaging Design
The nominated Broderick’s Bakes packaging project showcases how impactful print and thoughtful packaging design can elevate a brand on the shelf. From the vibrant colours and high-quality print finishes to the structural design of the Stand Up Pouch packaging, every element was developed to create a strong visual presence while protecting and presenting the product beautifully.
Our goal with this project was to help bring the Broderick’s brand to life through packaging that captures the indulgent, premium feel of their baked treats while maintaining the durability and quality required for food packaging.
Recognition from the Irish Print Industry
The Irish Print Awards celebrate excellence across the print and packaging industry, recognising outstanding work from companies across Ireland. To be named a finalist alongside some of the country’s best printers, designers, and packaging specialists is a proud moment for everyone at Alert Packaging.

A Team Effort
We would like to thank the entire Alert Packaging team, whose dedication and attention to detail made this project possible. We are delighted to be Finalists in the Irish Print Awards 2026. We have previously been won awards Flexographic Packaging Printer of the Year in 2022 with Flahavan’s Granola and in 2019 for Jinny’s Bakery. We also extend our thanks to Broderick’s Bakery for trusting us with their brand and collaborating with us to create packaging that stands out.
Looking Ahead to the Awards
The winners of the Irish Print Awards 2026 will be announced later this year, and we are looking forward to celebrating with our peers in the industry. Regardless of the outcome, being shortlisted in two categories is already a huge honour.
